1) You have developed a special, complex language with your cats involving meows, hisses, and head bumps:

“Mreow” “Meoooow” “Hackszzz” “Zsszzss” “Armmghhm” “NINO!” “Stella” “Poofydoodlekinds”

2) You have 300 pictures of a posing puss puss on your phone, 5 of yourself (mostly blurred), 3 including family members (mostly newborn babies), and 2 of your significant other.

3) You get excited about kitty litter that doesn’t smell like ammonia 4 hours after scooping.

4) You go out wearing cat hair and you don’t care.

5) You get cat hair stuck between your teeth and the back of your throat on a daily basis.

6) You can only sleep when the cats cuddle with you in bed. Boyfriends are overrated.

7) You have an entire album of kitty pics on Facebook.

8 ) Cats in txt msgs.

9) Phone conversations always end up in feline territory: “Nino says hi, btw! Oh! Stella meowed!”

10) Your friends feel replaced… by cats.

11) You look forward to the pet isle in every store. Cat nip! Expensive condo! Bed stairs! Edible plants! Squeaky, plush mice! Self-cleaning litter box!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

12) You enjoy quiet evenings involving cheap wine, purring cats, and bad TV movies.

13) You freak out when you travel- friends and family DON’T understand mah babes!

14) Your family sends you tacky cat-themed gifts.

15) You have nightmares where your cats run into traffic.

16) The cats accompany you to the bathroom. It stops getting awkward after a while (unless they use their litter box at the same time).

17) The vacuum’s sole purpose is to suck in hair balls.

18) There’s a cat cabinet in the kitchen: 5 brushes, hair ball remedies, 5 packs of treats, toothbrush, toothpaste, dry shampoo, wipes, food, canned food for special occasions, eye drops, etc.

19) You’re planning on including your cats in your will (and you’re 25 years old). Seriously- I want a responsible care-taker in case my bf and I end up in some bizarre accident. NO SHELTERS or I will haunt you 24/7.

20) You have a blog about cats.
